Stephen Tanzer (Vinous) rated the 2009 at 93+ points, describing a creamy, concentrated, even voluptuous Pinot Noir energised by its whole-cluster backbone, and noting that this is always a superb bottling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eDeep, complex nose dominated by raspberry and spices. Creamy and concentrated, even voluptuous, but with the whole-cluster vinification energizing the very dense middle palate and accentuating the wine's structure. The tannins reach the front teeth on the very long whiplash of a finish.
