Every year the same question comes up: why bother with Pinot Noir in Margaret River? In 2019 Pinot made up just 0.4% of the region’s total wine grape crush. Clare Mugford calls it the dark horse of the stable. Customers still remark, “Oh, I didn’t know you make Pinot?”\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThree generations have now chased it.
