95 Points Aaron Brasher, The Real Review
A lovely dark, deep purple in colour. Brambly blackberries, pencil shavings, cedary, dried herbs, bay leaf, classic cabernet aromas, really complex, aromatic and evocative. Flavours are medium to full-bodied, there's a lovely balance between the black fruits, dried herbs, dark olive and the complexing, ripe herbaceousness of the variety and the granular, textured tannins that shape the wine. Lovely length and grip—a serious ‘luncheon claret’.

2018 Deep Woods 'Reserve' Cabernet Sauvignon:
98 Points, Decanter
A storming example from this 32ha estate in the Yallingup Hills in the northern reaches of Margaret River, getting its maritime influence from Geographe Bay and the Indian Ocean. A very complete wine, showing beautiful ripeness of blue and purple berries, parma violets and inky minerals backed by resolved, delicate, powdery tannins. Lots of concentration, but feels lifted and light thanks to the integrated oak (18 months in barrique) and vibrant acidity. Gorgeous!

Halliday's Top 100 in 2020
97 Points James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion
From the original vineyard planted in '87, the wine matured in new and used French oak for 18 months. This is high-quality, autocratic cabernet, with blackcurrant, earth and bay leaf on the bouquet and palate alike. Minimalist winemaking allows the fruit maximum room to speak.

2018 Heydon Estate 'WG Grace' Cabernet Sauvignon
92 points, Decanter World Wine Awards (2012 Vintage)
Pronounced and complex nose: ripe blackcurrant, tobacco, black olives. Fine tannins, well integrated oak, elegant balance between power and texture. Still youthful.
