Collection: Plantagenet

Plantagenet is one of the founding names of Great Southern wine, established in Mount Barker in 1968 and closely tied to the region's cool-climate style. The current Lamont's collection has real depth, with museum-release Shiraz from the 1990s, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet blends, Riesling and vertical packs.

This is a particularly useful range for customers interested in mature Western Australian wine. The older Shiraz and Cabernet-based wines show how well Great Southern reds can hold shape with age, while the Rieslings bring the region's natural line of citrus, acidity and freshness.
