The Tasting Program

Wines worth opening, poured by the people who make them.

Winemakers come to host their own tables, from the Porongurup and Margaret River to the Yarra and the Macedon Ranges. Masters of Wine and JJ lead the benchmark tastings, where a single variety is put side by side across producers and vintages until the differences are impossible to miss. The rarest nights are the small ones: a handful of seats, a cellar opened, and someone at the table who can tell you exactly what you are drinking and why it matters.
