Collection: Barolo

Barolo Wines

Barolo is one of Italy’s most revered red wines, produced exclusively in the Barolo DOCG of Piedmont from 100% Nebbiolo. The region occupies a defined zone of rolling hills around Alba, where steep slopes, clay-marl soils and a long growing season allow Nebbiolo to achieve full phenolic ripeness while retaining firm acidity and fine tannins. Barolo’s identity is built on structure, longevity and the way it evolves with time in bottle, often showing floral aromatics and savoury complexity as it matures.

Across the principal Barolo communes — including Barolo, La Morra, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d’Alba and Monforte d’Alba — producers interpret Nebbiolo through vineyard site, tradition and cellar technique. Recognised names represented in this collection include historic, terroir-focused houses such as Vietti, Domenico Clerico and others noted for their Barolo bottlings, each reflecting a slightly different approach within the region’s framework.
