Nebbiolo is a red grape variety native to Piedmont in north-west Italy and is the source of some of the region’s most revered wines. Known for firm structure, lifted aromatics and fine tannins, Nebbiolo produces wines that combine red fruit with savoury and floral notes, and are capable of ageing with grace.

In Piedmont the variety underpins classic appellations such as Barolo and Barbaresco, where slow ripening in cool vineyard sites gives wines a distinctive balance of strength and precision.
