Collection: Bordeaux
Bordeaux is the world's most important fine wine region, producing Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot-based wines from appellations on both banks of the Gironde estuary. The Left Bank - Medoc, Pauillac, Margaux, St-Julien and Graves - is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and includes the five First Growths. The Right Bank - Pomerol and St-Emilion - leans toward Merlot and produces wines of a very different character, from plush and approachable to dense and long-lived.
This collection covers the full breadth of the region - from museum vintages of the great classified estates to current releases and second wines offering accessibility at a more approachable price point. All bottles are selected for provenance, condition and the ability to reward patience in the cellar.
