From the greatest estate in Sauternes comes one of Bordeaux's most intriguing dry whites. Y is Chateau d'Yquem's Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon blend, harvested early and vinified dry, carrying the richness and texture of its famous sibling into a fresher, more savoury register. The 2005 Y d'Yquem Bordeaux Blanc comes from a celebrated Bordeaux vintage and was rated 92-95 points by Wine Spectator, which found it full, rich and long yet elegant and racy.
