Meursault

Domaine Jean Monnier's Clos du Cromin, Les Chevalieres and Vieilles Vignes, Leflaive Sous le Dos d'Ane and Pernot-Belicard Perrieres make up this Meursault range of village wines, named lieux-dits and Premier Crus, held across several vintages.

About Meursault

Meursault is known for Chardonnay with a little more breadth and richness than its neighbours, often with notes of hazelnut and butter over a mineral core. There are no Grand Cru vineyards here, but the Premier Crus such as Perrieres are among the finest white Burgundy sites. Vineyards run south from the village towards Puligny-Montrachet and Blagny, with Charmes and Genevrieres among the best-known Premier Crus. A little red wine is also made in the commune.

Our range is anchored by Domaine Jean Monnier, with Clos du Cromin, La Barre, Les Chevalieres, Les Rougeots and Vieilles Vignes across three vintages. From Domaine Leflaive there is Meursault 1er Cru Sous le Dos d'Ane, from Pernot-Belicard Meursault Perrieres, and from Chapelle de Blagny Les Ravelles. Most wines are held in good depth across several vintages, which makes it easy to compare sites side by side.
