Domaine Leflaive

Domaine Leflaive is the most celebrated white Burgundy estate, farming premier and grand cru vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet including Chevalier-Montrachet, Batard-Montrachet, Bienvenues-Batard-Montrachet and Les Pucelles. The estate converted fully to biodynamic farming in the 1990s under Anne-Claude Leflaive, a decision that has shaped the character of the wines ever since.

Leflaive Chardonnay is known for its combination of richness and tension - wines that are generous in their youth but that develop extraordinary complexity with time in bottle. The Chevalier-Montrachet is widely regarded as the estate's finest expression, though the village and premier cru wines are themselves among Burgundy's most complete whites.
