Collection: Sangiovese

Sangiovese is the most widely planted red grape variety in Italy, producing wines ranging from light and fruit-driven to dense and age-worthy depending on where it is grown and how it is made. In Tuscany it reaches its greatest expression in Brunello di Montalcino - made from a Sangiovese clone known as Brunello and capable of ageing for 30 years or more - and in the structured, food-friendly wines of Chianti Classico.

This collection focuses on the serious end of the Sangiovese spectrum, with producers including Biondi-Santi, Casanova di Neri, Il Marroneto and others making wines of genuine depth and longevity from Montalcino's finest vineyards.
