This is the winery that created the defining imagery around the founding of the Great Southern wine region.
94 points, James Halliday, The Wine Companion
Medium red-purple; a moderately intense and quite fragrant bouquet has a mix of spicy, earthy, juicy berry fruit; the palate has excellent texture and structure, with red berry fruit, spice, fine tannins and subtle oak. The only caveat is that it may develop relatively quickly. Overall second highest-pointed wine at the 2002 Divine State of Origin Challenge.
91 points - Falstaff
The wines are drinking beautifully now, they do make terrific and rare gifts for wine lovers…
