Swinney

Swinney is a Frankland River producer that has drawn significant attention since its first releases, working with old dry-grown vines on the family's sheep and grain property in the Great Southern. The focus is on Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre, varieties that perform with unexpected elegance in this cool, continental sub-region.

About Swinney

Winemaking is handled with minimal intervention, allowing the fruit and site to speak clearly. The Farvie single-vineyard labels represent the estate's most detailed work, while the broader Swinney range offers an accessible entry point to one of Australia's most exciting recent additions to the fine wine landscape.
