Dried raspberry, some persimmon piquancy, rubbed herb and cured meat. A dried rose floral note that hovers gently above the glass. It’s tight and taut, yielding just enough dark fruited flesh to flow across the palate and taper through the grip of very fine, dusty tannins.

A bright, crunchy, floral-edged rendition of this variety that shows pure cherry, cranberry and mulberry fruits with hints of spice, almond blossom, drying hay, red berry pastries, those little chocolate liqueur thingys and turned earth. Tight, sandy tannins provide the frame, bright acidity the cadence, finishing with a bouncy, bright disposition.

This Montepulciano sits in the glass with a medium ruby core that gracefully fades into garnet edges, radiating a quiet, confident elegance. On the nose, it’s a stroll through a sweet shop—soft honey notes meet juicy jube plum and the nostalgic whimsy of strawberry shortcake. The palate is light on its feet, with a soft texture that dances delicately before a vibrant tartness sweeps in to keep things fresh and lively. The finish doesn’t overstay its welcome—short, sharp, and satisfying. This is Montepulciano in a playful, approachable mood, offering charm, brightness, and just the right amount of finesse.
