 1971
Infinitely complex wine with dark bitter chocolate/prune/espresso/leather/herb garden aromas. Rich, ripe, dark chocolate/roasted coffee/earthy/ dried fruit flavours and fine, loose-knit, grainy tannins. Finishes lacy and chalky dry but long and savoury.

1993
Smoky, plummy, cedar, polised leather, mint aromas. Sweet redcurrant, dried plum, dark chocolate, leathery flavours and dry, grainy, loose-knit tannins. Finishes firm and minty.

Intense blueberry, blackberry, cassis, dried herb, leather aromas with some musky, minty nuances. Plenty of cherry, blueberry, dried herb flavours, underlying tobacco, earthy notes and fine, grainy, textured tannins. Builds up quite brambly and dry at the finish.

Fresh, expressive wine with all the hallmarks of a 'Baby Grange'; lovely inky blackberry, meaty, cedar, graphite aromas. Dense, rich, generous, sweet-fruit flavours, underlying malt oak and slinky, chocolaty tannins. This is a great vintage with incredible fruit power and energy
