Collection: Barossa Valley Shiraz
Torbreck RunRig and The Laird, Rockford Basket Press, Penfolds RWT and Bin 150 Marananga, and Hentley Farm Clos Otto: Barossa Valley Shiraz from single vineyards and old vines, with back vintages and magnums.
Shiraz is the Barossa's signature. Old vines, warm days and deep soils give wines of real density and generosity, and the finest examples reward long cellaring. The style ranges from rich and opulent to more restrained and savoury, depending on site, vine age and how the wine is made. Many of the region's vineyards are among the oldest in the world, and subregions such as Marananga, Greenock and Ebenezer in the north are prized for their depth.
Torbreck is well represented through RunRig, The Laird, The Factor and The Forebear, some in magnum. From Penfolds there is RWT Bin 798 and Bin 150 Marananga, both drawn from Barossa fruit alone. We also hold Rockford Basket Press, Hentley Farm Clos Otto, Greenock Creek Roennfeldt Road, Peter Lehmann Stonewell, Standish, Elderton, Grant Burge Meshach and Glaetzer Eye of Ra. Older vintages are mostly single bottles, and a Barossa Shiraz jeroboam is available for larger occasions. Multi-regional blends such as Grange and St Henri sit on the South Australian Shiraz page.
