Collection: Premier Cru Burgundy

Volnay from Marquis d'Angerville and Comtes Lafon, Gevrey-Chambertin from Dujac and Denis Mortet, Leflaive Les Pucelles and Chablis from William Fevre: Premier Cru Burgundy, red and white, from named vineyards across the Cote d'Or, Chablis and Givry.

Premier Cru vineyards sit one step below Grand Cru. Many are neighbours of the great sites, and they often offer the clearest expression of a village at a more approachable price. There are hundreds of Premier Cru vineyards across Burgundy, and the name of the vineyard usually appears on the label after the village.

Reds include Volnay from Marquis d'Angerville and Domaine des Comtes Lafon, Gevrey-Chambertin from Domaine Dujac, Denis Mortet and Arnaud Mortet, and Vosne-Romanee from Alain Hudelot-Noellat and Jean-Marc Millot. Whites include Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles from Domaine Leflaive, Chassagne-Montrachet from Morey-Coffinet and Lamy-Pillot, and Chablis from Sebastien Dampt and William Fevre. Domaine Rapet, Jean Monnier and Domaine Thenard offer good depth from Beaune, Pommard and Givry. Many wines are held in good depth, and some older bottles from 2009 to 2012 are available in small numbers.
