Armand Rousseau

Domaine Armand Rousseau is the reference point for Gevrey-Chambertin, farming grand cru vineyards including Chambertin, Chambertin Clos de Beze, Clos St-Jacques and Mazis-Chambertin. The estate has been under the stewardship of the Rousseau family since the 1950s and is now managed by Eric Rousseau, who has maintained the estate's reputation as Burgundy's most consistent grand cru producer.

The wines are characterised by precision, balance and the capacity to age over decades without losing freshness. Rousseau's Chambertin is widely regarded as the finest expression of the appellation - powerful but never heavy, with a finesse that sets it apart from the other grands crus of the Cote de Nuits.
