Fontalpino

Fattoria Carpineta Fontalpino sits on the Montaperti hill at the southern edge of Chianti Classico, near Castelnuovo Berardenga in Tuscany. Purchased by Italo Cresti in 1967, it is today run by his children Gioia and Filippo Cresti, with Gioia as winemaker, and the estate is farmed organically.

Sangiovese leads the range, from the approachable Chianti Colli Senesi to the flagship blend Do Ut Des and the single-vineyard Gran Selezione Dofana. The wines marry traditional Tuscan character with a polished, modern hand.
