Collection: Rosso di Montalcino
Rosso di Montalcino is Brunello's younger sibling - same Sangiovese, same Montalcino vineyards, but released earlier with less oak ageing. It offers much of the regional character at a friendlier price and is ready to drink on release.
Look for brighter cherry fruit, fresh acidity and softer tannin than full Brunello, with savoury herbal notes underneath. These wines work well across the table with tomato-based pasta, roast chicken, grilled lamb, charcuterie and pizza, and reward modest cellaring of a few years.
