Sitella

Sittella is one of Western Australia's most admired sparkling specialists, founded in 1998 by Simon and Maaike Berns in the Swan Valley and named after a small native bird. Winemaking is led by their son Yuri Berns, a dedicated sparkling maker, with the traditional-method wines built on cool-climate fruit grown in Pemberton in the state's south.

The Grand Vintage Rosé is a highlight — a méthode traditionnelle sparkling of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, salmon-hued and dry, with red-berry fruit and a fine, toasty finish. It sits among the benchmarks of Western Australian sparkling wine.
