2009 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon
98 Points - Ray Jordan, rayjordan.com.au
"One of Australia’s great cabernets. This from a cooler season highlights and accentuates the typical bright red fruits and blue fruit mix, especially on the nose. It’s aromatic and perfumed with an African violet scent. The palate as always is so exquisitely balanced and refined. Since 1989 the cabernet has been augmented with the floral bright fruit of cabernet franc and the darker robust black fruits of petit verdot. The palate delivers with a gentle restraint yet there is power deep within. The chalky tannins define a long and focussed finish. A deceptive medium bodied wine that will cellar for many years."

2010 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon
97 Points, Huon Hooke, The Real Review
Deep, dark red/purple: excellent colour. Almond meal and walnut, bayleaf over dark fruit aromas. Rich, full-bodied, robust wine with lovely fleshy texture and ample fine-grained tannins that run the full length of the palate. An excellent deep-set core of sweet fruit. Delicious wine: long, complete, satisfying. Drink: 2013-2040.

2011 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon
97 Points, James Halliday, The Wine Companion
Moss Wood at its best, everything in its right place, perfectly balanced, and speaking of the vineyard, the vintage, the variety and the winemaker with equal conviction. Full purple-crimson; supple blackcurrant fruit is cosseted by superfine, but persistent, tannins and high quality French oak.

2012 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon
97 Points, James Halliday, The Wine Companion
The high quality vintage shines through this wine, illuminating its intricate multifaceted complexity; almost, but not quite, juicy cassis fruit is swathed in perfectly balanced French oak and gently ripe tannins. The only problem will be keeping your hands off it.

2013 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon
97 Points James Halliday, The Wine Companion
Hand-picked, destemmed to open fermenters with cultured yeast, 7 days fermentation and 7 days post-ferment maceration, matured for 28 months in French barriques (30% new). A powerful, full-bodied cabernet that still manages to achieve finesse thanks to the perfect balance of fruit, oak and tannins. An autocratic portrait of cabernet, and of photographic reality.

2014 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon
99 points, Ray Jordan, rayjordan.com.au
This is such a classic Moss Wood. As elegant and stylishly poised as any I have tasted through the years. Red berry and violets, with distinctive mulberry and cedar perfumes on the nose and that little oak influence. Such gorgeous perfume, which really makes this wine. The palate is balanced and refined with an elegance you only get in the very best of these wines. Wonderful integration of fine-grained, understated oak and fine, chalky tannins. Almost impossible to fault. A truly great wine and the best ever to come out of this magical region. Alcohol: 14%; Best Drinking: 2020-2050.

2015 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon
98 points, Huon Hooke, The Real Review
Ranked #1 of 58 Cabernet Sauvignon from Margret River

Deep red/purple colour, with a lightly toasty bouquet featuring some smoky oak, quickly giving way to violet and blackberry aromas with a sprinkling of dried herbs; the palate intense and fresh, clean and lively, with brilliant depth of dark and red berry fruit flavours. The acidity is refreshing on the finish and the tannins are firm and upright. This seems to be a more elegant style of Moss Wood, but still concentrated, and a long-term keeper. This is a great Moss Wood cabernet. Price: $128.00; Alcohol: 14%; Drink: 2018 to 2040.

2016 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon
99 Points, James Halliday, The Wine Companion
Includes 5% petit verdot and 4% cabernet franc, hand-picked, destemmed, open-fermented, 14 days on skins, matured in French barriques (18% new). A luscious, plush cabernet, its voluptuous palate trimmed by dry herbs and foresty notes. A great vintage maximised by the thoughtful vinification.

2017 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon
97 Points, Bob Campbell, The Real Review
Supremely elegant cabernet sauvignon with red and blue fruits, floral, violet, shoe box, cedar, nutmeg and nutty oak flavours. No single flavour dominates creating a delicious medley of appealing characters. Power delivered with subtlety. While it can be appreciated now I'd love to taste it in another decade (or two).

2018 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon
100 Points, Sam Kim, The Wine Orbit
Can a Cabernet be any finer, better structured and more engaging? This gloriously composed wine shows crème de cassis, spicy oak, subtle cigar, game and rich floral aromas on the nose, leading to an immensely concentrated palate offering exceptional depth and drive. Offering waves of refined texture and delicious flavours, classically structured by loads of fine tannins, finishing seductively long and gratifying. At its best: 2028 to 2058.
