Critic Reviews

94 Points - James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion

“Strong red-purple; much more concentration and depth than the '93, with dark fruits and gently earthy overtones. The palate confirms the impression of the bouquet, with plenty of weight and power to the blackcurrant fruit and tannins. Subtle oak as always; '94 was a great success for Moss Wood cabernet.”

92 Points - Robert M. Parker, Jr., Wine Advocate

“The very dense 1994 is similar in style to the 1995, and may have been produced from riper fruit given its lower acidity and more roasted, inky, jammy character. It is a large-scaled, full-bodied, beautifully-balanced Cabernet Sauvignon that is impressive to both smell and taste. It will benefit from 2-3 more years of bottle age, and last for 15+ years. This is a very impressive Cabernet Sauvignon.”
