Jean-Marc Millot is a small family domaine based in Nuits-Saint-Georges whose reputation rests on its Grands Crus in Flagey-Echezeaux, with Grands-Echezeaux the jewel of the cellar. The appellation sits directly above Clos de Vougeot and is one of the most compact Grands Crus in the Cote de Nuits, producing Pinot Noir of greater depth and structure than neighbouring Echezeaux. Millot's style is classically Burgundian, favouring perfume and finesse over extraction.
