Average Critic Score: 93.67/100

The 2013 Fraser Gallop Parterre Cabernet Sauvignon from Wilyabrup, Margaret River earned 94 points from both The Wine Front and James Halliday, and 93 from Huon Hooke.

Elegance is the dominant theme but it's bold enough to underline its premium status. Medium in weight, framed by tannin, touched by aromatic bay leaf and gravel notes and juiced up with boysenberry and blackcurrant. Detail. Finesse. - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front (94 pts)

Critic Reviews

94 Points - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front

“The full party of Fraser Gallop's Parterre cabernet sauvignon includes minor appearances from petit verdot, merlot, malbec and cabernet franc. It spends 18 months in all-French oak, all of it either new or one-year-old. Elegance is the dominant theme but it's bold enough to underline its premium status. It's medium in weight, framed by tannin, touched by aromatic bay leaf and gravel notes and juiced up with boysenberry and blackcurrant. Smoky oak makes a positive contribution. Detail. Finesse. This wine provokes such words. (Drink between 2020-2030)”

94 Points - James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion

93 Points - Huon Hooke, The Real Review
