At first, tightly wound and full of nervy energy via acidity, so it doesn’t want to give up too much without a decent airing, and then it loosens up. It comes out deliciously savoury, nothing out of place, offering a layer of nutty lees, some citrus and the merest hint of oak spice plus juicy acidity. It’s also refreshing and more linear than the Premium.

Medium-full yellow in the glass with an intense aroma of lemon verbena, a hint of chamomile and underlying citrus blossoms. Gentle buttery overtones. Medium-full bodied and rich, with fine mouth-feel, balanced and long.
