NV Pierre Peters Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru

Critic Reviews
95 Points - James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com
“A beautifully balanced wine with sliced fresh and cooked apple with hints of cream and some bread dough and brioche. Medium-bodied with a lovely creamy texture. Beautiful balance. 75% 2019 vintage and 25% perpetual reserve. 2g/L dosage. Drink or hold.”
92 Points - Antonio Galloni, Vinous
“The NV (2013) Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs is a picture perfect example of the vintage, with a striking interplay of rich, tropically-leaning fruit with bright, salivating acids. Pineapple, mango, chalk and jasmine are some of the many notes that give the 2013 its distinctly exotic personality. The Blanc de Blancs is the same wine as the Esprit, but released earlier. In other words, this is a vintage Champagne from a great year released as a NV. Don't miss it. Dosage is 2 grams per liter. Disgorged March 2017.”
91 Points - William Kelley, Wine Advocate
“Based on the 2019 vintage and disgorged with only two grams per liter dosage, Peters's NV Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru offers up attractive aromas of sweet stone fruits, freshly baked bread, honeycomb and citrus zest. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and incisive, its unusual concentration and persistence are testimony to the quality of the vintage base.”
