Clonakilla

Clonakilla is one of Australia's most respected cool-climate red wine producers, best known for fragrant, finely structured Shiraz and Shiraz Viognier. The current Lamont's collection is focused on older Hilltops Shiraz listings from 2007, 2008 and 2013, although they are currently showing as sold out.

These wines are useful reference points for customers who enjoy Shiraz with spice, perfume and savoury development rather than heavy Barossa richness. When available, mature Clonakilla suits lamb, duck, mushrooms and dishes where freshness and aromatic lift matter.
