Lake's Folly is one of the Hunter Valley's most historic producers, established by Max Lake in 1963 and famous for elegant Hunter Cabernet and Chardonnay with fine balance and serious ageing capacity.
The Cabernet partners lamb and beef; the Chardonnay suits seafood and roast chicken. Both reward proper cellaring and have built a strong following among collectors of historic Australian wine.
