Nelder Road, formerly Powell & Son, carries the Barossa story through wines built around depth, site character and traditional red varieties. The current Lamont's collection is focused on one bottle, a 2017 Barossa Valley Mataro.

Mataro is naturally savoury, firm and earthy, often showing dark fruit, spice and a little rustic grip. This is a useful wine for customers who enjoy Barossa reds but want something a little less familiar than Shiraz, particularly with lamb, slow-cooked beef, game or richer winter food.
