Peel Estate

Peel Estate is where modern winemaking in the Peel region began. Will Nairn planted the region's first modern commercial vineyard, Shiraz, in 1974, south of Perth, and remains the owner today.

About Peel Estate

Shiraz is the estate's flagship. Until 2019 Will Nairn ran a Great Shiraz Tasting that put Peel blind against the best Shiraz in Australia, and a wood-matured Chenin Blanc is the estate's other speciality. It is a small family operation of around 4,000 dozen a year, with one of the longer histories in Western Australian wine.
