Poggio Brigante is a family estate at Magliano in Toscana, in the Maremma hills of the Morellino di Scansano appellation. Enos Rossi bought the land in 1952, the estate began bottling under its own name in 2001, and it is now run by Franco Rossi and his son Leonardo, with vineyards at about 200 metres.

About Poggio Brigante

The grapes are farmed organically. Sangiovese leads, as Morellino di Scansano in several bottlings including the barrique-aged Arsura, alongside a Ciliegiolo called Scampoli. The whites include Pullero, a Vermentino from the Maremma Toscana DOC, and an Ansonica first harvested in 2013.
