Collection: Sancerre
Sancerre is the famous Sauvignon Blanc appellation of the eastern Loire Valley, where chalky soils produce whites with bright acidity, citrus, mineral cut and a more restrained style than New World Sauvignon. A smaller volume of Pinot Noir is also produced, lighter and savoury in profile.
The whites are classic partners for goat cheese, oysters, smoked fish, asparagus and lighter seafood, and work as an aperitif with real backbone. The reds suit charcuterie, roast chicken and lighter game dishes.
