96 Points - James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion (June 2021)
The bouquet reveals an electric array of black fruits, cedar, olive, violets and dried leaf; its complexity and completeness is revealed on the full-bodied palate, as the layers of fruit give way to fine-grained tannins and precise acidity; the finish is long, succulent and thoroughly mesmerising. Cabernet/Malbec/Petit Verdot.
18/20 Points - Jancis Robinson (Oct 2014)
72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Malbec, 13% Petit Verdot. 100% French oak for 18 months, 92% new, 8% older. TA 6.9 g/l, pH 3.43, RS 0.62 g/l.
Very subtle indeed on the nose. Neat and gorgeous. Very mouthfilling and gorgeous. Spreads right across the palate. Lovely palate scrub. Great elegance even if still quite dry on the finish. Complete and very vibrant.

Deep and dark, this statuesque cabernet blend slowly reveals layers of complex flavour and texture. Lifted by the scents of violets and smoky, spicy oak, its bouquet of cassis, blackberries, dark plums and cherries is backed by a banana-like whiff of youthful malbec. Long, brooding and fine-grained, itÕs steeped in small black and red fruits handsomely offset by chocolate/vanilla oak and supported by a firmish, drying grip. Give it time.
