2010 Xanadu Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon

Critic Reviews
95 Points - James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion
“Fermented in small batches, some given extended maceration post-fermentation, then given 14 months in French oak (40% new). The colour is bright and clear, and there is a most appealing nature to the blackcurrant and redcurrant fruit; the oak and tannins are perfectly balanced. Special. Closure: Screwcap. 14% alcohol. AUD$35 (Drink by 2025)”
93 Points - Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
“Grapes come from Wallcliffe (42%) with the remainder coming from Wilyabrup and Yallingup. Mulberry and dark fruit, perhaps blackcurrant, then a regional bay leaf/seaweed aromatic and mocha. It's medium bodied with firm tannin that guides and shapes, yet feels silky and smooth. Offers a light touch but also has depth and strength. Firm and long through the finish. Fine Cabernet. (Drink between 2014-2020) (93+ pts)”
