Les Suchots is one of the great premiers crus of Vosne-Romanee, wedged between Romanee-Saint-Vivant and Echezeaux, and Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot is one of its most traditional interpreters, with whole-cluster fermentation and long ageing giving wines built for the cellar. The 2011 Confuron-Cotetidot Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Suchots earned 93+ points from Stephen Tanzer (Vinous), who called it a beauty, praising its floral lift, precision and seamless energy in a vintage that rewarded careful growers.
