Cullen Wines

Kevin and Diana Cullen planted their Wilyabrup vineyard in 1971. Their daughter Vanya has made the wines for more than three decades. She took the estate fully biodynamic, timing picking and winemaking to the biodynamic calendar, which is where names like "Flower Day" and "Fruit Day" on the labels come from.

About Cullen Wines

The wines are named for the family:

  • Diana Madeline is the Cabernet. It is precise and fine-grained, it ages for decades, and it is one of the handful of Australian reds that belong in any serious cellar. We hold a run of vintages from 2004 to the 2024 release, plus a 2011 jeroboam.
  • Kevin John is the Chardonnay: textural and taut, with real grip. We have it in magnum too.
  • Vanya is the top Cabernet, made only in the strongest years.
  • Mangan and Grace Madeline are the estate's whites.
