Average Critic Score: 97.0/100

Deep red colour still with a tinge of purple. The bouquet has cranberry, tobacco and almost malty aromas, a hint of almond perhaps. The wine is intense and focused, precise and tightly-structured, with great elegance, penetration and persistence. A more compact style, it threads a needle. Superb. A will live another 20 years. (13% merlot, 3% cabernet franc).

“A very deeply coloured, concentrated and powerful DM, solid and tannic, still quite youthful and vigorous, a long-term vintage of this wine, which is ageing superbly. 09 Apr 2024. “Diana has a different DNA from the normal Margaret River cabernet. A gentler soul, offering a very fresh and more vine- and fruit-focused wine. A deep rich and elegantly commanding palate, which delves deep and flows seamlessly. This is magnificent, graceful cabernet. Drink or hold.”
