2024 William Downie Camp Hill Pinot Noir

William Downie is Australia’s benchmark for minimal intervention, single site Pinot Noir. Camp Hill sits at the highest point between the Strzelecki and Great Dividing ranges, a parcel planted in 1998 on red volcanic soils that lend a finer, more mineral style. Fragrant and finely tuned, with supple tannins and bright acidity.

James Suckling scored the 2024 at 97 points, saying it “would hold up in any old world lineup”, with James Halliday awarding 94 points in the Wine Companion.
