Collection: Alto Maipo

Alto Maipo is Chile's premier sub-region for Cabernet Sauvignon, set in the foothills of the Andes south-east of Santiago. The elevation, stony soils and cool nights produce reds of real structure and depth - the source of many of Chile's most internationally regarded bottles.

The wines show dark fruit, fine tannin and a distinctive savoury, sometimes minty edge that reflects the high-altitude site. They partner aged beef, lamb, venison and hard cheeses, and the top bottles reward a decade or more of cellaring.
