Pinot Noir

From Burgundy, the traditional home of Pinot Noir, wines range from village-level expressions to more structured Premier Cru and Grand Cru styles, all built on bright red fruit, measured acidity and layered complexity. In Australia, cooler climate regions such as, Pemberton, Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Adelaide Hills and Tasmania produce Pinot Noir that emphasises clarity of fruit, fine tannin and freshness, while New Zealand’s Central Otago and Martinborough are recognised for vibrant, textural renditions of the variety.
