2023 Hurley Vineyard Garamond Pinot Noir

Critic Reviews
97 Points - Stuart Knox, The Real Review
“Medium ruby-red colour. Fragrant nose of dark cherries, star anise, cola and prosciutto all lifting from the glass. Medium in weight but packing a great amount of red berry and cherry intensity. That power is accentuated by a mix of cola and anise spices and as it drives a deeper curing meat undertone. Great length carried by fine acidity and powerful, sandy tannins that almost feel endless. A phenomenal wine that will continue to evolve with cellaring”
94 Points - Jane Faulkner, Wine Companion
“Lovely aromatics through all four of the ’23 pinots, with Garamond smelling of a sweet shop and a pastry outlet rolled into one. Red lollies, mint, roses and frangipane strawberry tart. How enticing! Sure, it has the requisite cherry accents and savoury notes, blood orange, too, and it’s tangy, a little tart across the palate where sinewy tannins jostle with the perky acidity. It needs food as a partner.”
