About Pol Roger Champagne

Winston Churchill drank it for most of his life. The family named their prestige cuvée after him, first made in the 1975 vintage. It is Pinot Noir-led, powerful and long-lived, and among the most reliable prestige Champagnes for the cellar. The vintage Blanc de Blancs is the opposite pole: all Chardonnay, linear and chalky.

For everyday use, the Brut Réserve is one of the best-made non-vintage Champagnes there is. We keep it in half bottles too, which are useful for two people or an aperitif before dinner.
