Collection: Veuve Clicquot

Veuve Clicquot is one of Champagne’s most established houses, founded in Reims in 1772. Its reputation was shaped in the early 19th century under the leadership of Barbe-Nicole Clicquot Ponsardin, whose work helped define many of the practices still used in Champagne production today.

The house is recognised for several important developments, including early vintage Champagne, the use of riddling to clarify sparkling wine, and the production of blended rosé Champagne. These innovations contributed to Champagne’s rise as a consistent and internationally recognised wine style.
