Marsanne Roussanne

Marsanne and Roussanne are the classic white varieties of the northern Rhône, producing wines with texture, savoury depth and gentle stone fruit rather than sharp aromatics. The current Lamont's collection is focused on Rhône Valley whites from Domaine Belle and Domaine de la Chapelle, including Crozes-Hermitage Blanc and Hermitage Blanc.

These wines suit customers who enjoy white wine with weight and shape, but still want freshness and detail. They work especially well with roast chicken, richer seafood, pork, cream sauces and dishes where a lighter white would feel too lean.
