M. Chapoutier

M. Chapoutier is one of the Rhône Valley's most important names, and the current Lamont's collection is firmly focused on the northern Rhône. The range includes Cornas, Saint-Joseph, Côte-Rôtie and Ermitage, with a strong run of Syrah and one serious white Ermitage.

The older bottles are the main point of interest, with vintages reaching back to 1990, 1995, 2001, 2006 and 2009. These are wines for customers looking for mature Rhône character, savoury Syrah, cellar provenance and the more structured side of French red wine.
