2023 Hurley Vineyard Hommage Pinot Noir

Critic Reviews
95 Points - Stuart Knox, The Real Review
“Medium ruby red, some purple tints at the rim. Black cherry, anise and truffle aromatics. Palate has a wonderfully bright cherry fruit entry, staying primary and lively on the back of a lifting net of acidity. Tannins are full and sandy, ensuring there’s ample length and dryness to the finish. Still a very youthful wine but there's no doubting its intensity of purpose”
95 Points - Jane Faulkner, Wine Companion
“I notice the closure on all the pinots has changed from Diam to agglomerate made by Amorim. Very much a wine of the vintage where acidity rules, which is quite OK. It’s keeping this super lively and bright, feathery yet fine, sandy tannins there, too. Tangy and tart fruit – all cherries and plum compote – herbal with pretty aromas of florals and spice. Refreshing, has some gravitas yet I’d drink this in the short term.”
