Medium purple-red; the bouquet offers a mix of ripe cassis, blackberry and raspberry aromas with subtle but evident oak. The long, even palate has near-identical cassis and blackberry flavours, supported by fine, lingering tannins and subtle oak. Reflects the '98 vintage; by the standards of Mount Mary, quite full.
