2017 Pierre Peters Les Chetillons Champagne

Pierre Péters’ Les Chétillons is one of the great grower Champagne cuvées of the Côte des Blancs: pure Chardonnay, Grand Cru Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, and all the chalk, line and quiet power that comes with it.

The 2017 Cuvée Spéciale Blanc de Blancs comes from three old-vine parcels within the prized Les Chétillons lieu-dit, a site long associated with precision, mineral drive and serious longevity. This is not broad, easy Champagne. It is finely cut and deeply expressive, with citrus, white peach, almond, chalk and subtle brioche notes wrapped around a taut, crystalline frame.
